Description

Messier 106, located in the constellation Canes Venatici, distance about 24Mio LJ, is one of the larger galaxies, currently well positioned in the Northern Skies. It was my target for the First Light with my new telescope - TSRC12, a 12" Truss RC, equipped with an individually selected focus system, electronic rotator and my QHY268C camera. Due to bad weather after delivery, it took weeks before I was able to complete the setup on my iOptron CEM120EC2.
I am not yet completely happy with the result, but for a first light, it is quite OK, I guess.
