Description

On January 4, 2025, at 18:16 UT from Tunis, this image captures the exact moment Saturn emerges from behind the illuminated edge of the Moon, just after an occultation. Taken with a 305mm Dobsonian telescope and a ZWO ASI662MC camera, the scene highlights the majesty of Saturn's iconic rings.

To the left of the planet, the star 85 Aquarii shines distinctly, adding an extra layer of beauty to this rare and captivating celestial event.
