Description

Tarantula is an amazing nebula. Actually NGC2070 is a star cluster embedded into the nebula, the largest area of emission of HII in the known universe.

Tarantula has a diameter of 1000 ly, apparent diameter as seen from Earth of almost a full moon and is around 100 times the size of M42 in Orion.
