Description

Rev A: Widefield Image

Rev B: Cropped High Res Image

Rev C: Combined Presentation

This image is special to me on so many levels! First and foremost, it is another collaboration with my dad! As mentioned before, it is our first trip together after some health issues and makes it all the sweeter. It was such a great trip and we were fortunate to get perfect weather for 4 days for lots of fun activities and imaging.

This is our first time trying to to show a widefield and high res image of the same region. It's a cool target for it because the widefield and high res region are both picturesque and quite interesting. The data was captured over 3 nights for each of us and then processed by me. While I continue to struggle a bit with the Samyang 135mm lens, it still gathers light fast and allows for some really interesting super wide shots. I will likely try to replace it soon with a higher quality lens (looking for suggestions with real picture examples) or a larger sensor and very short refractor.

Thanks for looking!
