Description

The Small Star Cloud in Sagittarius (also known as Delle Caustiche or M24) is a star cloud in the constellation of Sagittarius, approximately 600 light-years away, which was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764. Easily observable with the naked eye as a small spot in the great rift of the Milky Way.
Embedded in this cloud is an extraordinary structure in Oxygen and Hydrogen that belongs to a supernova remnant called G013.3-01.3. Inspired by a Bray Falls publication of this area in 2023. With my friend @Sebastian Marchi and I worked together with our equipment installed at the Observatorio Desierto Cósmico  of our friend @CarlosSagan  who invited us to be part of this experience of doing astrophotography of starry nights of Atacama, Chile.
