Description

M16, aka The Eagle Nebula, lies in the constellation of Serpens. It’s about 7,000 light-years away from earth.

It is one of the most amazing deep sky objects you can capture with a telescope. Located within this nebula are several famous structures, including the stunning Pillars of Creation, a star-forming region, depicted in the cropped 2nd image.
