Description

NGC 2486 and 2487 are 2 really small Galaxies in Gemini.
They are called as well Holmberg 90. The whole group consists out of 4 galaxies in total.

The distance to earth for the group is about 230 mio Lj.

NGC 2486 has a diameter of 1,5 x 0,9 arcmin and is at the right side
NGC 2487 has a diameter of 1,7 x 1,4 arcmin and is at the left side

Seeing was quite good at that night which helps to get this good resolution!
Of course BxT helps as well!
