Description

The Spaghetti Nebula, also known as Simeis 147, SNR G180.0-01.7, or Sharpless 2-240, is a supernova remnant (SNR) in the Milky Way.

It is extremely faint and challenging to observe. It spans roughly 160 light-years and is believed to be about 3,000 light-years away from Earth.
