Description

NGC 660 has been a fascinating galaxy to me ever since I first saw it. I've been holding out until I could get the Celestron C11 Edge dialed in a bit to try to take on photographing this galaxy. I think i may still revisit it at some point, but I for one think it is absolutely beautiful. I'm hoping to improve upon my setup in 2025 by switching to mono and hopefully doing this galaxy justice.

Approximately 45 million light years away, its a fairly unique galaxy and the known one of it's kind having a late lenticular galaxy as its potential host from a collision long ago. Upon reading up about this object, it has a massive black hole at it's core, which is believe to have emanated a huge jet in 2012.
