Description

This picture was born from the collaboration between me and my amateur astronomer friends Lino and Paolo, putting together all the signal that we managed to collect during this year with our equipments.

Sh2-200 (also known as HDW 2 or Bearclaw Nebula) is an extremely fait planetary nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, about 3° northeast of the large Soul Nebula.
It is a poorly studied object, which was initially cataloged as an H II region and only in 1983 its nature as a planetary nebula was recognized, in a study of some nebulae of unusual appearance. Its distance has been estimated at around 3590 light years on the outer edge of the Orion Arm.
