Description

The Dragon's Egg is a puzzlingly complex celestial wonder. I went hard at  it as this is placed well , good weather and the novelty of my new backyard observatory with 25 hours exposure  being  my longest yet . Blowing caution to the wind over the mostly full moon at full focal length,  I believe it is one of my best yet. Comments welcome👍
Recently  a paper was published where the research  team suggests" the system within the Dragon’s Egg used to have three stars around four million to six million years ago—until two of them crashed together and merged into one., a pretty rare event. "
This is the same explanation to the creation of the  Famous Eta Carina nebula /Homologous nebula.
Awe and wonder Folks!!
