Description

NGC2403 can be found in the constellation Camelopardis and is one of the M81 galaxy group galaxies despite the fact that it is quite far away from M81. Its distance to Earth is about 10Mio LJ and its diameter about 70000LJ. It has two companion galaxies - very small and rather insignificant, both had been disrupted long time ago by NGC2403.
This image is a combination of two different sources - one is an RC700 from TL and the other part comes from one of my own scopes, a RASA11 with an ASI183. The percentage of contribution of each of these sources is about equal. As I cannot nominate two different sources, I have declared it as mixed sources origin.

I have replaced the original image with one of a slightly different format - I think it is a better proportion between the bright stars and the galaxy now...
