Hello astro friends,
It took me a while to finish this picture. Work related. But I wanted it to be as good as possible.
This year I finally managed to get a vacation for the Pereid meteor shower. With the aim of having enough time to drive to the best observation location. Luckily, as it turned out. At short notice I had to drive further than originally planned.
What do we have here?
Taken at Altmühlsee in Bavaria with a view of Vogelinsel. The foreground lake with bird island and Milky Way is a single image with 10s exposure, processed in LR.
I added the Perseids with PS. Originally there were 21 meteors, but only 16 made it into the picture.

es hat etwas gedauert bis ich dieses Bild fertig hatte. Arbeit bedingt. Ich wollte aber das es so gut wie möglich wird.
Dieses Jahr habe ich es endlich geschafft zu den Pereiden Meteorschauer Urlaub zu bekommen. Mit dem Ziel genügend Zeit zu haben um zu dem besten Beobachtungort fahren zu können. Zum Glück wie sich herausstellte. Ich musste kurzfristig doch weiter fahren als ursprüglich geplant.
Was haben wir hier?
Auf genommen am Altmühlsee in Bayern mit Blick zur Vogelinsel. Der Vordergrund See mit Vogelinsel und Milchstraße ist ein Einzelbild mit 10s Belichtung, bearbeitet in LR.
Die Perseiden habe ich im PS eingefügt. Ursprünglich waren es 21 Meteore, aber es haben nur 16 Stück auf das Bild geschafft.
