Description

In the border area between Cepheus and Cassiopeia is the nebula complex SH2-171, here we find the emission nebula NGC 7822 with the young star cluster Berkeley 59, the youngest stars are only a few million years old. One of the hottest stars here is BD+66 1673, a class O5V star, which is mainly responsible for the ionization of this emission nebula and it also forms the depicted globules. This is a birthplace of many stars.
