In the captures of the week of the new moon in July, but with the weather still unstable in the northern region, I returned to the south and got enough frames to process another image that shows the R CrA Nebula NGC 6729 in the Corona Australis Constellation. At the beginning of the processing I did not have great expectations, but at the end of the processing, I saw that I was wrong, another great work of nature was revealed where the Globular Cluster NGC 6723 makes its presence felt.

This fan-shaped nebula extends from the star R Coronae Australis towards the star T CrA to the southeast. R CrA is a pre-main sequence star in the Corona Australis molecular complex, one of the closest star-forming regions to the galaxy at a distance of 130 pc. NGC 6729 is a variable nebula that shows irregular variations in brightness and shape.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
