15 years ago, on this day - Jan 20th APT became available for public downloading. The year is 2010, the version is 1.0.1. This is the oldest screenshot I have, taken a few days earlier while finishing the site.
All available features are on this screenshot! It was the first astro imaging application with native user interface that preserves darkness adaptation. The development of almost all of the acquisition and processing applications for amateurs you know today, had not been started yet. The initial announcement was in the three world's biggest forums, one closed years ago. Sounds quite dinosaurish
It is so long way, so much things changed and we are happy that APT is part of this change for the good of our hobby and our passion
