hi fellow astrobiners, I use the Antlia ALP-T 5nm Dual Narrowband Filter with the 294MC attached to a TS 12" RC truss tube, and I was very surprised to find a halo around a star which is not from the brightest class, its AM Cyg. HIP102732 M-class star its a variable pulsating star with period of 365 days the brightness varying from Mag. 10.763 to 13.185. you cant oversee the star with its halo at center of the image, i was wondering because all the forums mentioned no halos! and yes i have no halos arround brighter stars, has anybody an idea how to debug where this this halo results from? The image is simply calibrated and stacked it contains 10 Lights x 300sec / 10 darks x 300sec / 15Flats. clear skies, |
