this group exists to provide a space for people who want to openly discuss AstroBin and its features.

It's a public community group for the community.

AstroBin official support is only available via the Support link in the Help menu, and support requests in this forum will not be addressed by AstroBin.

Often images are seen towards the end of their 48 hours in the queue, as they reach the first page of the Submitters queue. AstroBin automatically resubmit images if they don't reach enough views, so you needn't worry. Besides, looks like your image got 3 promotions with only 25% of the views, so it's at the next stage now Also, PS: you posted as a reply to an unrelated topic in the forum: next time please open a new topic or contact support. Thank you!

I think I like it but I'm not sure. Is there a post / thread about it? I can't find it.

URLs changed and layout changed on whole site with each search, I think.

Still getting used to it. I can maybe see the advantage. But if it stays jarring to the brain, is there a URL to use to view the site only in the old confg?

app.astrobin.com is not new. It exists since 2020 as part of a technological migration to allow more responsive and modern UI on AstroBin, and browsing pages faster. You go there when you upload an image, when you buy a subscription, when you view the equipment database, when you buy or sell in the marketplace, and several other pages.

You happen to notice today because the search page and related image viewer were just ported to this tech stack. Read more here:

I know that change of any kind is hard for some people, and that's why you have the option to switch back to the older version in your preferences:
https://www.astrobin.com/profile/edit/preferences/

However, I encourage you to take the time to think about the improvements and how they actually are significant. Perhaps put the old and the new side by side by switching your preferences a few times and trying different things.
