Description

AR3722.
Added a Televue 2x PowerMate before the TZ4S [scope -> 2x -> TZ4S -> etalons]

Air spaced etalons perform better at higher F numbers, when in a telecentric beam.
The Sun came out for an hour so I decided to play with that theory.
No flats taken, nor in any other of my Vixen M80 images.

Basic processing: Lucy Richardson deconvolution [image 1] then gentle Multi Scale Contrast [image 2].
Processed in Astra Image.

Neither of the Lunt40s were titled.

I moved the Edmund Optics 0.5nm blocking filter from the nose of the TZ4S to the camera nose piece.
I reasoned this would perform better in parallel 0° incident light.
I don't know if that assumption is valid, but the image looks pretty good to my eyes.
