Description

NGC3521 is an intermediate spiral galaxy with an irregular halo and interruptions in its spiral arms - probably due to a collision with an other galaxy long time ago. Its distance from Earth is about 26Mio LJ and its diameter about 145000LJ. It is located in the constellation Leo in the Northern Skies.
