Description

Strottner-Drechsler 15 (StDr 15) is a planetary nebula candidate in the constellation Cepheus.
StDr 15 is a rather faint object, visible in the center of the image with a size of about 5x3.8 arc minutes. This nebula was discovered by Xavier Strottner and Marcel Drechsler in November 2019.
StDr 15 is located in the sky at the bottom side of the dark nebula complex LDN 1072, which occupies most part of the image. At the bottom of the image and slightly to the right is another dark nebula-LDN 1064.
This is the first color image of the StDr 15 nebula.
