Description

Sh2-280 is not imaged nearly as often as its more popular neighbor the Rosette Nebula, but it sure is an interesting target. It's much fainter than the Rosette and required much more integration time to pull out the details. Sh2-280 features an interesting OIII arch coming from the center of the target. This could have benefited from much more integration time, but the weather has not been very cooperative in my neck of the woods this winter. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!
