Description

In the centre of the Milky Way, apparently arranged in a circle, are a number of well-known and often imaged emission nebulae, such as the Bubble-, Cave- or Lobster Claw nebula. Apparently because they are all at different distances from us, between about 1,000 and 18,000 light years away.
