Wow, very nice Jim!
Don't know much about DayStar Quark Chromosphere,
do you have to worry about things getting too hot inside the OTA with one of these?

Under 80mm no protection is needed.  From 80mm to 120mm Daystar recommends that a 2 inch uv/ir cut filter be used before the diagonal.  Above 120mm, an energy rejection filter (ERF) is recommended.  I have broken those rules from time to time, but now I am a bit more cautious.  With this one, I used a uv/ir cut filter.  They also recommend air spaced rather than oil spaced objective lens.  Astro-Physics folks think that oil spaced objectives will work just fine.  It is not recommended to use telescopes with any additional lenses at the rear of the scope.

Any thoughts on animating your solar images?
Jim Matzger Jan 14, 2023
I have a hard enough time animating myself.
Tareq Abdulla Jan 14, 2023
Animate yourself enough please so you show us the equipment full details you use for solar, i mean images or pictures of your setup.
