Well done Simon. This must have been a challenge with OSC narrowband and a bright moon!

Thanks Lee for generous support. It seems as though all my images at the moment are to do with bright moons. What is the statistical likelihood of every time it's clear, you get a full moon or near to it! Take care!

I was sure it was 100% wasn't it?! It certainly always feels like that in the UK

Lovely Rose Simon! I feel your pain with the British weather.
You wait weeks for a clear night then the gremlins come out to play like you can’t get focused the bright moon starts dancing around.
The neighbour floodlights come on by accident .
I’m glad you managed to capture this DSO, nicely done.

Thanks Tim for taking the time to write to me again and I do appreciate hearing from you every time. This weather. Maybe I should say nothing about it anymore!

Nice to see this, Simon! Not the easiest object but you have done well, especially considering the bright moon and the short time.

Thank you Gary for taking the time to write to me again. I really appreciate it you know...

Ha, you will see mine this weekend and I must admit, I like yours waaaay better! This is a nasty little one, at least it was for me! Nice Simon!

You are too kind my friend but I am looking forward to seeing your image soon. Yes I found this quite tricky myself to be honest, but with a lot of fiddling around I finally got there 😃

Always making the best of our foul winter weather, Simon. Where are the cold, bright, clear nights we expect at this time of year? Nevertheless you’ve done well and this has come out very nicely.

Tom it is very difficult at the moment from an astronomy point of view and the grind of having to watch weather in other parts of the world where it is clear a lot of the time, and not at all here, is hard to manage. I don't know what's the matter with those crisp winters. I remember only about 15 years ago I was regularly clocking
-10 or -11 on my window sill in my house where I used to live! Thanks for supporting me with the squeeze in the weather that I seem to get 🙂

So now you are simulating ? Hope this picture comes from the real Simon and not from the simulated one 😂
Good shot and nicely processed as usual. This one you didn't try with your Cassegrain, or did you? 😉
Weather is often fine in the middle of the week, and when we go to our landhouse in the Normandy for the weekend where my telescope is, the clouds welcome us. No photo done since end of August. 😠
All the best Andreas

Yes it is very difficult simulating... last time I had this problem I had to go to the doctors!! 😃 I am sad that you have not had much decent weather; it must be something to do with travelling further north to the Normandy district which is nearer to the UK, where we get bad weather!! Of course what worries me is if you get a stimulated version of the simulated Simon... then you are in trouble 🙈😃 thanks your generous and amusing comment!

Still a nice image but with no more signal than what you collected you can't do miracles... Whish you a nice weather my friend. Brice

Thank you Brice for taking the time to comment and I'm glad that you appreciate the image, in spite of the restrictions. Are we going to get any images from you soon please? Cheers mate

Still very busy unfortunately (well this is for good). Weather is bad here anyway... I still have a couple projects still not completely processed I might post one of those days. Thanks for asking Simon, I'm still following but yeah not very active. Soon or late this will change ! Cheers !

I look forward to the day of your artistry coming forth once more! 🙂
