Description
This image concludes the 2024 season for me. It was again a nice year to be here with all of you on Astrobin. I saw images this year that we all, I believe, did not see being possible from our backyards. Amazing progress in the processing department (the new MSGC in PI 1.9.x looks like another game changer!), and the dedication of the "Astrobiners" is just amazing. I wonder what 2025 will bring!
The last image in 2024 is certainly not a "knocking out of my seat" one, but it adds nicely to my growing Sharpless catalog. Which reminds me ... have to start working on the Messier targets again as well 😊. I chose for this area just a plain RGB image with Hα addition only, for one, those Sharpless targets are mostly visible in Hα only, and second, clear skies time was limited, otherwise I would have tried to get some OIII as well.
Carpe Noctem, and all the best for all of us in 2025 and beyond!
