Wow! Chris, this is outstanding! I thought it was professional data that you just processed. Excellent job buddy!

Thanks for your kind words Mike! This data was captured by the venerable AT92+Apex Reducer+QSI683 with the "obsolete" KAF8300 chip...lol.

NGC1333 is my favorite too which I captured recently, and I do love your FOV, can you tell me a bit about this plug-in to remove stars, is it better than StarNet++?

I find it better than Starnet. It does a more complete job of removing the stars, and most importantly there are far fewer artifacts so when you start pushing the data you dont have any of those funny rings that starnet leaves behind. Also it does a better job with diffraction spikes. I tested that out with this image here:

Tortured Souls Redux
It's currently a photoshop plugin, but the dev has plans to write a PI module as well, which will operate in 32/64 bit. I'm a PI guy, so I just save my files as tiffs run StaX in PS and then back to PI for stretching and adding stars back in. You can google RC StarXterminator to find the download page. It's not free like Starnet, but I think the modest price Russell is asking is well worth it.
