Love this “art”, it truly reflects the mysteries of the our Universe. How did you use (blend) the Ha?

Thanks, Kevin.
Being that the Ha is really an add-on to augment the R, I simply used pixel math such as
R: R+H
B: B+.3H (for the Hbeta)
G: G

Never seen this level of detail in image files available to all. 24" scope and your processing really rocks.

Thanks, Randy...it's all in the wrist! (That is, spend enough time doing this stuff and get Carpal Tunnel; then you know all there is to know about image processing.)

That is REALLY cool Alex, one of the more mesmerizing images of this interacting pair I have seen. I loved the detailed write-up too!

Thanks very much. One thing I left out of the write up that is, perhaps, the most interesting fact of all: The galaxies have done their thing and are now separating!

Very cool - guessing they will come back together again though as you say to eventually become a large elliptical after the destructive dance is completely done.
