Beautiful  image - I followed the same thought process during bad weather using older Iris Nebula data as well. Time and tool development have definitely improved image quality.

It has gotten so much easier to process images now with the new tools.  I think the challenge is to not go too far with what they are capable of doing!

Wonderful image Chris.. with beautiful colors and details int he core.   An object so popular and one that I've never imaged.   One of these days!   I'll be out of commission for a bit on the AP front.
