Description
It has been a really productive winter/spring season here in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of opportunities to catch up with sleep
. But I had some stuff on the side to do hardware and software vise. My RedCat51 has turned into a little lion in the mean time.
I updated it with a flip flat panel from DeepSkyDad and I also added a Pegasus rotator V2 plus their USB Hub and PowerBox Micro, all raised above a Primaluce 50cm losmandy plate with 30mm blocks (will update my gear images soon)
I also worked on implementing the Target Scheduler into N.I.N.A.'s advanced sequence and was hoping to get at least 2-3 clear nights before moving back to SoCal for the Summer/Fall season.
Three nights ago I stayed up and ran some full test to make sure everything was behaving as it should. YES!!! And the following night I had to collect new filter offsets and why not add some imaging as the last opportunity before the move. At least one image for this season!!!
I did not know until this week that we actually have a small window of No Night here and I had to shoot during Nautical darkness. And the window was quite short. I only got 36 subs in and with a bit of careful processing, the image came out acceptable. Next time you see me on here, I will be reunited with my Newtonian. I miss you...
