Looks very nice Chris. I certainly understand your point about the HDR processing - it's difficult, if  not impossible, to really capture an eclipse, but I think the variety of processing techniques helps to communicate the very special nature of these events.

I was in TX and was able to view most of the eclipse through totality. This has been my third eclipse and my wife and I are already planning a trip to Luxor in 2027. 6m 30s! Can't get enough of them!

Ed,  That sounds amazing. I was looking at that eclipse as well.  Maybe go to the Gibralter area.  Annual average puts it at 93% chance of being clear on 8/2/27.  I wish the one in 2026 was a long one as well as it traverses a wide swath of spain.   But over 6 minutes really makes the 2027 the one to travel for!

Great work on processing this despite the high cloud challenges Chris. Did you have much crop on this? Seems like the scope/camera setup is a sweet spot for this.
