Thanks, my good friend. I still struggle with making a mosaic that does not show the seams, but am going to practice a bit. Now I used the technique recited in Light Vortex...maybe there something newer out there I should study?

Hi Alex,

I too struggle with color mosaics.   I have used AstroPixelProcessor (APP), which has an easy-to-use mosaic function.  APP is freeware.  I really didn't notice any mosaic lines...  Nice image!

Thanks for the info, but I'm probably not up to learning another pgm just to do mosaics. I have seen several program use a microsoft product that automates the whole thing and does a nice job...but, again, it's yet another learning curve.

Very well done Alex, the mosaic appears to be stitched seamlessly.  I would love an opportunity someday to image this, I think it is a fascinating galaxy.

Thanks...the mosaic was done in PI, but I have since researched some other products and all future mosaics (if any) will use something more aligned with the task.
