Description

On the 15th of July 2022 comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) passed close to M10. This picture was taken under full moon and maximal altitude of 35 degrees. Even though we can clearly see a dusty tail and green coma and a very faint elongation towards the cluster suggesting an ionic tail. M10 is a globular cluster depicting many blue straggler stars which can be clearly seen in this picture making a good contrast with the mainly red stars forming the cluster.
