Description

NGC 80 Group with a beautiful interacting galaxy pair, NGC 90/NGC 93 (Arp 65) in the constellation of Andromeda. The NGC 80 Group also includes  galaxies NGC 79, NGC 81, NGC 83, NGC 85, NGC 86, NGC 94, NGC 96, IC 1542 and IC 1546.

This LRGB image was constructed using the data acquired with my mobile setup, the 250mm f/4 Lacerta PhotoNewton and ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera over a few nights in October, 2024. The luminance data was taken at f/6, while RGB exposures were taken at f/4. To increase image scale, images were x2 drizzle integrated. Images were processed using a combination of traditional image processing techniques (RL deconvolution, multiscale transform) and RC tools (BXT, SXT and NXT).
Exposure detail:
L: 57x300s (Gain 0) and 50x90s (Gain 100) taken @f/6
R: 42x180s (Gain 100) taken @f/4
G: 31x180s (Gain 100) taken @f/4
B: 34x180s (Gain 100) taken @f/4
Total exposure: 10.35 hours
