Description

NGC 7635, also known as the Bubble Nebula, is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is about 7,100 light-years away from Earth. The nebula gets its name from its distinctive bubble-like shape, which is created by the powerful stellar wind from a massive young star, SAO 20575, at its center. This wind pushes the surrounding gas outward, forming the bubble structure, which is about 7 light-years in diameter. The Bubble Nebula is also part of a larger star-forming region.
