Description

This image was taken over two weeks in December 2023 with an ZWO ASI2600mm Pro through a Williams Optics Redcat 51 on an EQ6-R Pro mount.

The image comprises:

Ha:      220   x   300s
OIII:     221   x   180s
R:           20   x   180s
G:           20   x   180s
B:           20   x   180s

Total integration time was 30 hours and 20 minutes.  The image was processed in Pixinsight and tweaked in Photoshop.

These are very, very faint objects. Even under Bortle 4 skies, I struggled to capture enough exposure time to bring out the details. I had previously imaged Sh2-224 by itself, but knowing that there were several other objects nearby, decided to try and capture them all in one image. The Redcat 51's FOV is just large enough (when coupled with the ASI2600) to capture them.
