Description

This is Lorenzin 23, an easy observable pattern of stars located in the constellation sextans. This "chain" is listed as #23 in the Lorenzin astronomical catalogue of 25 telescopic asterism. Tom Lorenzin was an us-american amateur astronomer, who passed away in August 2014 (btw: he named a galaxy group in the background of NGC 7331, known as the "Deer Lick Group", not far away of the more famous "Stephans Quintett").

This one is rarely photographed, image processing was very challeging due to the bright moon and therefore a very present and obvious gradient in the data.
