Description

Untitled-1.png

Discovered in 1784 by William Herschel. A remnant of  a supernova which occured somewhere between 10.000 and 20.000 years ago, showing itself as a expanding cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus. The star of origin was 20 times more massive than our sun, and the supernova would have been bright enough to see from Earth.
