Description

The dominant object in this image is  the reflection nebula LBN 534. This object stretches diagonally across the image. Within this structure are several molecular clouds classified in the Planck Catalogue of Galactic Cold Clumps (PGCC).  Also within this structure is the blue reflection nebula vdB 158. LBN 534 is about 1400 light years distant and calculates to be about 36 light years in its length. Central at the bottom if the image is a small planetary nebula PK 110-12 1 (also cataloged as PN G110.6-12.9). There are also a few background galaxies in this image ranging from 261 to 413 million light years distant. These objects and some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image. Horizontal FOV is about 115.  Full size image scale is  about 1.92 arcsec/pix.
