Description

The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is one of hundreds of billions of galaxies that we estimate are part of the known universe.
Yes... it is large, about 110,000 light years (light year more light year less 😊 ), however on average compared to the dimensions of galaxies measured so far.
Astronomically speaking, it is very close to our galaxy: so close that with my telescope, I am not able to have it all in my field of view......
So here is this shot that reveals a lot of details of the galaxy including satellite galaxy (M32), stars, clusters and nebulaes: enjoy the result.

6 hours exposure made in October 2023 from the front yard of my house.
