Description

The Spider and the Fly.
This is one of the lesser imaged nebulas, but I thought it was interesting so I shot it using narrowband filters for the nebula and R,G,B filters for the stars. I like the way the nebula came out but the stars are a bit messy.
The spider is an an emission nebula IC 417.
The fly is both an emission nebula and a reflection nebula (NGC 1931).
They are located approximately 10,000(Spider) and 7,000(Fly) light-years from the Earth in the constellation Auriga.

Revision C:
I added more Ha and Sii to bring out the finer detail.
This image was a combination of SHO and ForaxX and then I boosted the Red a bit with HistogramTransformation.
