This years experiences in AstroPhotography have taught me so much! Biggest thing I have learned is there is SO Much more to learn!! There have been lots of Highs and Lo's and all the way through each I have learned things,
1: I am now recording those lessons learned and keeping them in a journal(Biggest lesson learned) so I can continue along quickly regardless how long it takes Mother nature to give me clear dark skies to play in.
2: I have integrated new tech to the equipment list, and learned how those hardware pieces work together. Whats better for what type of Photography.
3: I have a repeatable process for Scope Alignment and can now nail this in minutes vs hours of frustration
4: I have fully integrated my Gear with my PC so I can spend more time actually imaging targets instead of spending hours just trying to find and track them
5: I have taken the huge first leap from grainy Planetary Imaging to my first 2 DSO's (Deep Space Objects) this is game changing.
6: I humbly accept I have SO Much more to learn, and with time I hope to produce hundreds more amazing photographs of things to dim for us to see with our naked eyes... Oh and of course the bright ones too!!!
7: This hobby is expensive, but you can definitely beat a ton of the costs by shopping used, and taking the leap of faith in other Photographers assistance with problems.
8. I think I can now safely say I am an Amateur AstroPhotgrapher...
