I'm a retired electrical engineer.

Inspired by my grandfather to become a visual amateur astronomy enthusiast since my youth, in retirement I have finally found the time to pursue astrophotography, a long technical learning curve that is very challenging and satisfying. As time permits to finish them, I've been posting my images at Telescopius and Astrobin.

At this stage of life I harbor no zeal for terrestrial imaging contests, and engage in this hobby solely for the thing itself: the pure satisfaction of being in nature at night, and to stay involved with a fascinating, always evolving, technical skill.
