I never had a hobby that grew as exponentially as astrophotography. Ever since I've seen Jupiter's Galilean moons, my fascination for this hobby was fueld and the spark was kindled :D
I am not as interested in the "art" aspect as compared to the "science" aspect of this hobby. I work in research & development of extrinsic calibration approaches and like to put the same structure & effort into the wise I work on my hobby (i am very eager to learn something new every day).
Another good aspect about this hobby is that it mostly takes place during night time. Therefore, I am sacrificing only my own sleep instead of quality time with my family.
