In 2004, a hoax email circulated stating that "at opposition, Mars would appear as large as the full moon." Inspired by that email, I asked my father to buy me my first telescope. With my 90mm Maksutov, I looked at Mars for the first time - and though the view was quite underwhelming - I've been hooked ever since.
I've been interested in Astrophotography since approximately 2008, and was a spotlight speaker at AIC in 2012.
