I started my astrophotography journey during the pandemic, taking advantage of the time I was spending in and around my home just outside of San Francisco. Since purchasing my first telescope three years ago I have developed a genuine passion for discovering and sharing the beauty of the night sky. Most of my images have been captured from my backyard, a Bortle class 5 suburban location east of San Francisco.
I am a retired technology executive and this hobby melds my technical education and career with my long-time curiosity about space and its "origins." It is a fascinating hobby that allows me to share some of the wonders of the Universe with family, friends and colleagues.
