I'm getting back into astrophotography after a hiatus of a number of years due to other commitments. During my teaching career, I taught a course in science research and sponsored many students in doing astronomy-related projects. In particular, I was awarded a $10,000 Toyota Tapestry Grant to pursue variable star research in collaboration with the University of Denver's astronomy department and Chamberlin Observatory. Now that I am retired from teaching, I have time to do my own astrophotography and assembled a William Optics 103 mm f/6.9 refractor-based system employing a ZWO ASI224MC guide/planetary camera and a ZWO ASI294MC PRO main imaging camera. I look forward to sharing images on Astrobin!
