At 62 getting more grumpy!
British Astronomical Association member, campaigning for 'Dark Skies' a big issue in the UK even if living in the countryside, due to new LED technology replacing town / city / street lighting to white illumination. The eye can see the white glow at higher elevations above the horizon. No filters (like the ones for sodium lighting) to compensate. Only solution is to press for a Policy to switch them off after midnight.
Have Planewave 14" Astrograph mounted on Mesu 200 mounting. Trying to improve my little practical experience in astrophotography (too much theory!). Yet to decide on the camera (future proofing).
