Description

The NGC7654/M52 cluster contains hundreds of young stars that formed together about 20 million years ago. The Bubble Nebula is shaped by the powerful solar winds from a Wolf-Rayet star impacting a giant molecular cloud. The two objects are at similar distances from Earth. M52 at 5.100 light-years and the Bubble Nebula at 7.100 light-years.

In our neck of the woods we are experiencing more or less constant cloud cover for most of the year. Maybe it is just this place but compared to former years opportunities or better put clear sky nights are really sparse.  This is the third!! picture we have acquired this year and it is November already. So Rant over.

We used a half night, not a full night, because you guessed it clouds moved in around 2 am to aquire this lovely cute Bubble nebula. It is our first go at this particular object. Hope you like it. Critic and comments are very welcome! Thank you!
