Description

NGC 1360 is a quite bright and large PN in the constellation Fornax (6.6' x 4.6'). At the beginning I searched the web a bit to see what kind of images I could find, but apparently this PN is not photographed too often. In any case, I was taken with the intense blue (the OIII channel is really very strong and blue is also dominant in the RGB). But there is also pretty much H-Alpha visible. However, one thing about the object is not entirely clear to me: why is it called Robin's Egg - who is Robin?
